Our Story · Since 2022

We built Legiano because Aussie players deserved better.

Most online casinos either treat Australia as an afterthought — clunky payments, no AUD support, frustrating KYC delays — or outright pretend to be local while running the same recycled platform you've seen ten times before. Legiano is different. We started in 2022 with a simple idea: build the casino we'd want to play at ourselves, and only ship it when it actually worked.

Three years on, we're a licensed operator running 3,200+ games from forty top studios, with native PayID payments, sub-five-minute crypto withdrawals, and a 24/7 support team made of actual humans. We're proud of what we've built — but we also know exactly where we still have work to do, and we'll tell you about both.

Our mission

Make online gambling faster, fairer and more honest for Aussie players.

Sounds grand, but it breaks down into a handful of concrete decisions we make every week.

Speed over theatre

Withdrawals shouldn't sit in a 'pending review' queue for three days while we hope you change your mind. We process them fast and we don't apologise for that — it's the baseline.

Honest about the maths

Every game has a house edge. We don't hide it, we don't pretend our pokies are luckier than the next site's, and we publish RTPs in full. You should always know the odds you're playing against.

No dark patterns

No countdown timers manufactured to pressure you. No bonus terms buried five clicks deep. No deposit-now-think-later prompts. Where we use a CTA, it's because we believe the offer earns it.

Care that's built in, not bolted on

Deposit limits, session timers, reality-check reminders, self-exclusion — every one of these tools is in your account from day one, not hidden in a help article you'd never find.

How we operate

What actually happens behind the scenes when you deposit and play.

A casino can look the same as any other from the outside. The differences are in the operational details — the things you notice only when something goes wrong (or, in our case, when it doesn't).

01

Your funds live in segregated accounts

Player balances are held separately from operational capital, in dedicated bank accounts. We don't fund the business with your deposits. If anything ever happened to the company, your balance would be returnable.

02

Every game is independently audited

The Random Number Generators behind every slot, table game, and live-dealer feed are tested by iTech Labs — an independent agency that audits operators across the world. We don't tune the games ourselves. We can't.

03

KYC is a one-time process, not a delay tactic

We verify your identity once, before your first withdrawal, and we use the same documents for life. We don't ask for new documents each withdrawal. Most checks finish in under ten minutes during business hours.

04

Support is staffed in shifts, not outsourced overnight

The 2 a.m. shift answers chat the same way the 2 p.m. shift does — same tools, same authority to issue refunds and resolve disputes. There's no 'we'll escalate this for the morning team' cop-out.

05

We log every change to your account

Limit changes, password resets, payment-method updates — everything is timestamped and visible to you in your account history. If anything looks wrong, you can challenge it with hard data.

What you can verify

Trust isn't a tagline — it's things you can independently check.

Anything we claim should be verifiable. Here's what to look up and where to look it up.

Curaçao eGaming licence

We operate under a Curaçao eGaming licence, which requires independent RNG audits, segregated player funds, and a published dispute-resolution process. The licence is verifiable through the Curaçao Gaming Control Board's public register.

Independent RNG certification

iTech Labs (itechlabs.com) is the independent agency that audits our games. They publish certifications publicly, and you can match the studios we work with against their certified-operator list.

256-bit SSL on every page

Every connection to aulegiano.com uses HTTPS with TLS 1.3 and forward secrecy. Click the padlock in your browser bar to see the certificate details and the issuer.

PCI-DSS-compliant payment partners

Card data and crypto wallet addresses never touch our servers — they're tokenised by partners certified to PCI-DSS Level 1, the highest tier of payment-data security.

Public Privacy and Terms documents

Our full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are published in plain English, not hidden behind a registration wall. They tell you what we collect, why, and what control you have.

What we're not

A casino that hides its weak points isn't honest.

We talk a lot about what we do well. To be fair, here's where we know we still have ground to cover.

We don't hold an Australian gambling licence.

Legiano operates offshore under Curaçao law. Australia's Interactive Gambling Act doesn't criminalise individual players for using offshore sites, but it does mean you're choosing to use a non-locally-licensed operator. We disclose this on our homepage, on the FAQ, and in our Terms — never buried.

There's no inbound phone line.

Most issues are resolved faster on live chat than on the phone, and our chat is staffed 24/7. But if you specifically prefer phone support, this is a genuine drawback today. We're considering adding it for VIP-tier players.

Bonuses still come with wagering requirements.

35× isn't sneaky — it's industry-standard, and we publish the full conditions before you click 'claim'. But it does mean bonus play won't always convert to withdrawable cash. If a bonus doesn't suit you, ignore it. The base account terms are good on their own.

Gambling has a built-in mathematical edge for the house.

No matter how fast we pay out, no matter how many studios we add, the long-run maths doesn't change. If anyone — us included — ever sells you on gambling as a way to make money, walk away. It's entertainment with a cost. Treat it that way.

Try it for yourself.

The fastest way to know if Legiano lives up to any of this is to deposit a small amount, play a few rounds, request a withdrawal, and time it. That's the only test that matters.
